Anal toys for beginners: the size order that actually works
How to work up in size with anal toys in the UAE — what diameter to start at, why the base matters more than the shape, how long to stay at each size, and what to do if it hurts.
Start smaller than you think
The most common mistake is buying the size that looks reasonable on a product page. In practice, a beginner diameter is smaller than most people expect — a finger width or slightly more, and a tapered tip rather than a bulb.
Our four-piece training set exists precisely because nobody can judge this from a photograph. The smallest piece in it is genuinely small, and that is the point.
The base is the only non-negotiable
Every product in this category needs a base wide enough that it cannot travel. It is not a comfort feature, it is the one thing that keeps the whole exercise safe.
Check the base on the product images before you order. A flared base that is barely wider than the shaft is not enough.
How long to stay at each size
There is no schedule. The rule is that you stay at a size until it is comfortable in every position you want to use it in — not until it stops hurting.
In practice that is usually several sessions, not one. Moving up because you are bored rather than because it is easy is how people hurt themselves.
If it hurts, the answer is not pressure
More lubricant, or a smaller size. Those are the only two answers. Pushing through discomfort is how people end up never trying again.
Use water-based lubricant and reapply rather than waiting for it to become uncomfortable. This category uses more lubricant than any other, and it is not a small amount.
Cleaning, briefly
Silicone rinses clean with warm water and a pH-neutral cleaner. Metal can be boiled. Vibrating versions get wiped rather than submerged unless the page says water-resistant, and the charging port seal stays closed.

Questions
What size should a beginner start with? +
The smallest piece in a training set — roughly a finger width, with a tapered tip. Start there even if it looks too small.
How long before moving up a size? +
Until the current size is comfortable in every position you want, usually several sessions. There is no fixed timetable.
Does it get easier? +
Yes, with relaxation and the right lubricant. If it does not, you are probably still at too large a size.
