Is the expensive one actually better?
Where the extra money in an adult product actually goes — motors, material volume, packaging — and the two cases where paying more is genuinely worth it.
Where the money actually goes
- Motors. A device that moves costs more than one that only vibrates. This is the biggest single jump in the catalogue, roughly AED 200 to AED 280.
- Material volume. A 2.5 kg moulded body costs more than a 580 g sleeve because there is four times as much material in it.
- Battery and control. App control, warming, and a second motor all add cost without changing the material.
- Packaging and branding. This is where you get the least for your money. A prettier box is not a better product.
When paying more is worth it
When the mechanism is the point. If you want movement rather than vibration, there is no cheap way to get it. The AED 280 automatic stroker and the AED 180 manual cup are not the same product at different prices — they do different things.
When weight matters. A heavy torso stays where you put it. A light one does not. That is a functional difference you can feel immediately.
When it is not worth it
On a first purchase. If you have not used the category before, an expensive device is an expensive guess — the features you are paying for are ones you have not tested a preference for.
For anything where the material is the same and only the finish differs, the cheaper one is usually the better buy.
A simple test
Ask what the extra money buys, in one sentence, without using the word "premium". If the answer is a motor, a mechanism, or material you can feel — worth it. If the answer is finish, packaging or brand — probably not.

Questions
Is a AED 700 device better than a AED 300 one? +
Only if the difference is a mechanism you specifically want. In our catalogue the AED 700 item is a 2.1 kg heating thruster — bigger and motorised, not just nicer.
Do expensive toys last longer? +
Motors fail before materials do. A cheap silicone dildo can outlast an expensive motorised device.
Where is the value sweet spot? +
Around AED 200–280 for most categories — real materials and real function without paying for unused features.
