Personal massager or vibrator? The words mean different things
Why the same product is sold as a personal massager and a vibrator, which term to search for, and what each category actually covers.
They are the same object, sold under two names
A "personal massager" and a "vibrator" are usually the same thing. The difference is where it is being sold and to whom. Pharmacies, wellness shops and mainstream marketplaces call them massagers. Specialist stores call them vibrators.
Neither name is wrong. But the two words bring back very different results, which is why it is worth knowing which one to type.
Search "personal massager" when
- You want something that does not look out of place in a drawer or a bathroom cabinet
- You want the quietest thing available
- You are buying a gift and would rather the search history says massager
- You are looking for a wand shape rather than something anatomical
Search "vibrator" when
- You want a specific mechanism — suction, tapping, telescopic
- You want dual stimulation, which no "massager" listing will show you
- You care about motor specifications rather than appearance
- You are comparing across the whole category rather than one shelf
What we actually stock
Our Massagers category is the small, discreet end: a pen-shaped device at AED 180 and a thumb-shaped wand at AED 220. Both are one motor, one button, quiet.
Everything with a second motor, suction or movement is in Vibrators instead. Same body, different shelf.

Questions
Is a personal massager the same as a vibrator? +
Usually yes — the different name is about where it is sold, not what it does.
Which is quieter? +
The small massager shapes, because they use one small motor. Anything with a second motor is louder.
Which search finds cheaper options? +
"Massager" tends to surface mainstream marketplace listings, including very cheap ones. Ours start at AED 180.
