Your vibrator won't turn on — work through this in order
A troubleshooting order for a device that will not power on or charge — the travel lock, the cable, the port, the battery — and how to tell a fixable problem from a dead device.
1. The travel lock
This is the most common one and it is not a fault. Many rechargeable devices have a lock so they do not switch on in a bag — usually a long press of one button, sometimes a two-button combination held for three to five seconds.
If the device did nothing at all when you pressed the button, try holding it for five seconds before assuming anything is broken.
2. The cable and the plug
Try a different cable and a different power source. These devices use simple charging circuits and a marginal cable is a common failure point.
Use a standard 5V USB output. Fast chargers negotiate higher voltages that these circuits are not built for.
3. The charging port
Look into the port with a light. Corrosion — a green or white crust — shows up as a device that will not charge even though the battery is fine.
This usually follows water getting in with the rubber flap open. It is not fixable at home, but it does tell you the device is not simply dead.
4. The battery
If the port is clean, the cable is known-good and it still will not charge after an hour, the cell is the likely problem.
A cell that has been stored completely flat for months can lose the ability to accept a charge. That is the one scenario where nothing you do will bring it back.
If it is genuinely faulty

Questions
Why did my vibrator stop working suddenly? +
Check the travel lock first — a long press. Then the cable, then the port. Those cover most cases.
Can I fix a corroded charging port? +
Not reliably at home. Cleaning it can make it worse. If the device is under warranty or recently bought, contact us.
How long does a charge last? +
One to three hours depending on the motor. If it drops sharply, the cell is ageing.
