Same-day delivery in Dubai: what is actually possible

Same-day means a cut-off, not a promise

A courier can only do same-day if the order reaches them early enough. That is why the stores that genuinely offer it publish a time — something like "order before 1:30 pm".

If a store says "same-day delivery" with no time attached, treat it as marketing rather than a commitment.

Our timing

Orders placed before 4 pm on a working day leave the same day. Delivery in Dubai is 1–3 working days, and 2–5 across the other six emirates.

We do not promise same-day, because cash-on-delivery parcels need someone at the door and a same-day promise you can't keep is worse than an honest two-day one.

Why cash on delivery changes the timing

With prepaid orders, the courier can leave a parcel at a reception desk and move on. With cash on delivery, the handover has to happen with a person who can pay.

That means the first attempt succeeds or fails on whether you are reachable — which is why the phone call before delivery matters more than the estimated day.

Outside Dubai

Abu Dhabi and Sharjah are typically 2–4 working days, and the northern emirates 2–5. The delivery fee is the same everywhere, and free over AED 200.
